In this role, you will lead late-phase studies or manage an indication for a complex compound under the guidance of a statistical project leader or team leader. Your expertise will be pivotal in accelerating drug discovery and development, contributing to meaningful advancements in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality input into the design, setup, and conduct of clinical studies.
- Accountable for all statistical deliverables related to the study.
- Oversee execution of statistical analyses according to the statistical analysis plan.
- Prepare statistical methods and provide insight into interpretation and discussion of results for clinical study reports and publications.
- Propose and perform exploratory and ad-hoc data analyses as needed.
- Offer technical guidance to junior staff.
- Plan and track study activities and timelines.
- Foster productive collaborations with other functions within the study team.
- Represent statistics in scientific or technology working groups or cross-functional initiatives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- PhD/MS in Statistics or related discipline.
- Proficient in advanced statistical concepts and techniques, with experience using SAS or R.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
