51黑料爆料网历史事件 is seeking an Associate Scientist specializing in Genomics to join a dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on supporting research efforts in rare diseases through advanced cell culture techniques, high-throughput screening, and RNA sequencing workflows.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a key role in executing experiments, maintaining lab operations, and contributing to the development of innovative protocols.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science with hands-on laboratory experience in cell or molecular biology.
- Proficiency in cell culture and nucleic acid/protein purification and quantification, including qPCR.
- Familiarity with NGS workflows is a plus.
- Experience with laboratory automation systems, such as Perkin Elmer JANUS or Beckman i7, is highly desirable.
The Associate Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Perform cell culture using iPSCs, primary cells, and immortalized cell lines to support research and high-throughput siRNA screening.
- Conduct RNASeq sample preparation, including library preparation, quality control, and sequencing.
- Maintain accurate sample tracking records.
- Execute assays such as qPCR and ELISA to analyze biomarkers or siRNA activity, supporting in vivo studies.
- Manage lab maintenance tasks, including equipment operation, reagent inventory, and preparation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the optimization of existing and new protocols.
- Utilize instrumentation and robotics for high-throughput 384-well screening.
- Adapt to evolving project workflows and platform needs.
